Lichtenberg Figures (or fractal burning patterns) are lightning-like branching patterns created by passing high voltage electricity along the surface of and through dielectric (insulating) materials such as wood. This process creates a unique image as the electricity burns patterns into the wood. *Creating Lichtenberg Figures is a dangerous process that can result in severe injury or death and as such, should not be attempted by inexperienced craftsmen.*
