Epoxy coated charcuterie boards
These charcuterie boards are decorated utilizing the Lichtenberg Technique which creates a one-of-a-kind fractal burning pattern along the surface of the board. The front surface and sides of each board is coated with food-safe epoxy resin and left to cure for at least 72 hours. The back of each board is coated in order to resist liquid.
Care:
Wash surface lightly with soft (non-abrasive) sponge or cloth with diluted, mild dish detergent. Rinse using water sparingly. Do not submerge in water. Lightly dry with soft cloth. Do not place hot items on board.
Live Edge Charcuterie Boards
These charcuterie boards are decorated utilizing the Lichtenberg Technique which creates a one-of-a-kind fractal burning pattern along the surface of the board. (The fractal burning process can cause slight discoloration in the area of the Lichtenberg Figures. This is normal and does not affect the quality of the board.) The surface and sides of each board has been treated with food safe mineral oil which fills the pores of the wood to protect it against liquids and food particles.
Care:
Wash surface lightly with soft (non-abrasive) sponge or cloth with diluted, mild dish detergent. Rinse using warm water sparingly. Do not submerge in water. Dry using a soft cloth. Let dry overnight. Apply a generous layer of mineral oil and rub into the wood with a soft, dry cloth. Let the board absorb the oil for at least three hours. Wipe off excess oil before use. Do not place hot items on board.

(The fractal burning process can cause slight discoloration in the area of the Lichtenberg Figures. This is normal and does not affect the quality of the board.) The fractal burns are then filled with custom colored epoxy resin to highlight the figures and give each board an amazing appearance. The surface and sides of each board has been treated with food safe mineral oil which fills the pores of the wood to protect it against liquids and food particles.
